Great Product

Very rugged and sturdy product. Mounting to the 4Runner was easy and straightforward. Mount is also easily adjustable to tweak phone angle on the fly.
My only negative comment would be that the mount doesn’t come with mag plates for the phone. Would have been nice to include one.

Great product for magsafe phones and the 5th gen 4runner. Works just as described, super easy 15 second install and holds my iPhone 15 Pro phone perfect.

Magnetic field

Either increase the number of neodymium magnets for the non-charging mount or lighten up on the protective coating for a stronger field. Otherwise, great attachment.

The MagSafe non-charging mount has 17 high force N52 magnets inside, arranged in a MagSafe pattern. This array generates over 1300gf which produces plenty of friction to hold the heaviest phones on rough roads. These magnets are positioned within 0.65-0.70mm from surface. This exceed the Apple MagSafe specifications.

Please ensure that the case you are using has a quality magnet inside, and that these magnets are close the case surface. We recommend Apple or Peak Design cases for guaranteed holding performance.

Good concept

Ok so maybe not the entirely intended use, I use an iPhone (older) with a case and a steel plate between phone and case. And it didn’t hold my combo great. I did switch out the 22mm magnet for a different one. But I do like how this unit mounts to the 4 runner it’s solid and a great option, much better than a stick on or screwing a mount to the cluster. It’s clean and can be removed. Only other issue was the Allen wrench didn’t fit the screw… no problem, but ive got all the Allen’s
