Toyota 4Runner 2003-2009 Mounting Base

I was very excited to come across this product. I have been trying to avoid the giant mounting platforms that take over the entire center console or the radio/dash, so this mounting base is the perfect option. It is an incredibly solid mount (I can literally rock the vehicle by tugging on it) and it really opens up your options in terms of what you're mounting by using the 20mm ball. And in the case of a phone, it puts it in an ideal location. I was very happy to be able to easily modify my existing wireless charging mount to a 20mm ball and connect it to this mount.

Overall, I'm very impressed with both the design and the execution of the product.

I am very pleased and surprised with how well this mount holds so far. I didn't think a mount existed for the 4th Gen 4Runner, but this is the only thing I have found that comes remotely close to working and I am very happy with it. I ended up using a 67 Designs arm with a separate magnetic phone holder and they all work great together to hold the phone steady with no jostling except for the vehicle vibration going down the road. No more broken air vents.

If you have a 4th gen 4runner this is the only ball mount for you dashboard area that doesn't require modification or drilling. I am impressed with how rock solid it is and the installation is easy. Quality aluminum construction. I paired mine with a 8 inch arm and phone mount from Bullet Point and it's perfect! My only complaint is that I wish it came with a 1 inch/ 25 mm ball option since that seems to be more common than the 20 mm accessories.
