Phone mount for a Subaru 2021 Crosstrek

I was hoping to find a phone holder for my Subaru Crosstrek. Was impressed to find one that was positive mounting design especially designed to fit.
However, the mount has 2 tabs that are designed to lock the mount between the vent housing, one tab had evidently been pushed flat. After I had straightend the errant tab, and used a small wedge to get the small tab inserted.
That small tab, although fitted as per design, seems to be a weak link, not certain about its integrity on off road.
Would suggest a replacement mount, and perhaps a beefier tab.

Subaru Forester 2023

What I purchased was also advertised for a Forester. It will not stay installed, continues to fall.

Great phone mount

I have been thru many many phone mounts, and I was very happy with this phone mount. A little pricy and a little hard to get in just right, but worth every penny in my book, and once in seems pretty bullet proof to me.. Rugged, well built and will last! Not the cheap plastic crap that is the usual or magnet mounts that don't work. I recommend 110%

Wanted to love it

Didn't fit well and one of the prongs broke off a week in. Oh well!

No Glue Sounds Great . . .

The idea of no glue or drilling sounds great until it continuously comes off. The top left connection point, which bears most of the strain when putting your phone in the clamp or taking it out, is also the weakest point. I have "reinstalled" it 4 times and now I'm sending it back.
