Great Fit and Finish

I've used this mount for about 3 weeks and so far it has felt bulletproof. I like that the mount design is mechanical rather than suction, and that the part that clamps down to the dashboard is made of metal. Other mounts I've used that were made of plastic all inevitably failed at the clamping part because the plastic would warp under the clamping force.
One minor negative: I wish the phone grip could be operated one-handed. I can put the phone into the grip with one hand, but I cannot take it out with one hand. Some other phone mounts have a push rod on the back of the grip that opens the grip, which I think is a useful design. I get why Offroam might want to keep the grip as simple as possible, but it would definitely be a useful feature if they can engineer it to their standards.
