The wink nut is far too big for this product that limits articulation and placement of the phone to the users liking.

The wing nut is sized to offer sufficient leverage to lock the arm in place. If you are looking to align the nut with the arm in locked position, you can clock it by rotating the hex bolt to the desired position.
