Jeep Wrangler JK 2011-2018 MagSafe-compatible Phone Mount

The mount is a quality item that securely attaches to the vent on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler and I am not worried about my phone coming loose at all and it works as advertised. The only issue I have is that it is pretty restrictive where you can place it on the vehicle vents. It can only be mounted on the 12 O'clock position on the right side center vent. Any lower and it would interfere with gear changes on the manual transmission and if it were to be mounted on the left side it would block/interfere with some controls on the steering column stalks and volume knobs on the left side of the center control console. As it is, on the right side, it still blocks one knob but if I have my phone mounted on that side I would not be using that knob. If you have a touch screen in the center console to control the entertainment features on the vehicle I do not think it would be an issue but for the standard radio/entertainment package it is a little bit of an issue. In the future I may try to adapt it to a bracket that is bolted to my passenger side dash grab handle as that would be completely out of the way and still easily visible. Overall, I would probably still buy it since bespoke accessories like this for older model Wranglers can be hard to come by but it is still something to consider as you may not have a totally issue free experience.

For years I've been looking for a phone mount for my jeep that is not a suction cup on the windshield and prone to falling off.
Saw reference to Offroam mounts online. I initially hesitated because of the price, but figured I'd do it. I am glad I did. Even the packaging was well thought out. The mount is a simple design, all aluminum, quality made and finished and installs in about 1 minute.
It holds the phone rock solid and with the mag case I already had, you don't have to deal with clips, buttons or levers to attach the phone. Great adjustment angles allow you to get the phone in just the right place.

Easy to install. Location is ideal as previous holders I used sat up to high causing a slight blind spot. Strong magnet. Make sure your phone case is MagSafe. I installed on 2nd vent to the right of steering wheel. I might move it closer however. I like how it is now hidden from others seeing it from the outside. Well done. No vibration from the roughest roads.

super quality, have bought so many different kinds of phone mounts and most of them suck! this one stands out from the crowd , works perfect and was exactly what i wanted , the packaging is even superior.

It’s not a cheap phone holder, it’s very well made and worth the money
