I recently purchased this MagSafe phone mount for my GMC Yukon, and I couldn’t be happier. The magnetic strength is exceptional – it holds my iPhone firmly in place even on bumpy roads, giving me complete peace of mind while driving.

Installation was incredibly easy and straightforward, and the design fits perfectly into the vehicle’s interior without looking bulky or out of place. It feels premium, sturdy, and well-built. This is by far the most secure and reliable MagSafe mount I’ve used. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a safe, stable, and elegant mounting solution!

The mount is perfectly designed. I really like that it's all metal...
You can easily position the mount so your phone doesn't interfere with the dash vents nor the manual controls below it. The mount is solid, secure and easy to install.
The only gripe is the magnet is as strong as I would like it to be. When I've lightly bumped the phone it comes off the mount. I do seriously doubt it would remain on the mount during any off roading. I have other magsafe mounts in another vehicle that are much stronger.

Great design BUT weak magnet

The mount/bracket itself is a very good product and is well designed. The opportunity lies with the magnetic hold of the magnet used on the MagSafe component. The magnet used is not very strong. If I bump the phone while reaching for something, it will easily fall off the mount. Given the fairly high price point, I did not expect an issue with a weak magnet.

I would’ve ordered the model with the ‘universal’ style holder but I opted for the cleaner look of the MagSafe style holder.

To be fair, I give the overall mount and bracket design a 5/5 as it installs well and is very sturdy but the MagSafe component gets a 1/5, bringing the overall to 3/5 rating.

The holding strength of the MagSafe phone mount depends significantly on the phone case's compatibility and the strength of its MagSafe magnets. For best results, we recommend using high-quality MagSafe-compatible cases from brands like Apple or PeakDesign, as they tend to have stronger built-in magnets. When coupled with either of these cases the pull force amounts to over 16N which is plenty to keep the phone on the road including when reaching for something. Let us know if you are using one of these cases or some other 3rd party case.
