AMPS Mounting Base

I was severely limited in my left-side phone holder options in the Silverado EV - really only one option out there, but their phone mounts just couldn't compare with offroam. The 4-hole AMPS mounting base was able to bridge the gap by connecting to this other clip-on mounting point, and coupled with the offroam articulating arm, it let me use my favorite offroam phone holder and still have my phone in the right spot! Not a cheap option with all the necessary pieces, but the end result works very well due to the quality and design of this base, the articulating arm and phone holder. Love the offroam products, which is why I keep coming back!

Great option when i was researching for options to install in my suv

I liked the OFFROAM phone mount on the passenger side in my 2014 Tacoma so much that I bought another from OFFROAM for the vent on the driver side using the 2 hole AMPS ball mount to hold my ScanGauge II. It works and looks great!! There is just enough room next to the OBDII connector plug on the back of the ScanGauge to 3M tape the 2 hole ball mount. I did add a rubber faucet washer under the wing nut on the OFFROAM arm in order for the wings to more easily clear the CAT5 wire plug. Very solid install. If your looking for a way to mount your ScanGauge II, this a very clean and efficient way to do it.
