It's obvious Offroam uses and tests the products they make. This is a solid, great looking phone mount with an amazing amount of stable adjust-ability. Very easy to install. I have it mounted on the passenger side facing me, the driver. Easy to reach and view with no obstruction to the CD player or controls. It allows good air flow from the vent.
I liked the OFFROAM phone mount on the passenger side in my 2014 Tacoma so much that bought another from OFFROAM for the vent on the driver side using the 2 hole AMPS ball mount to hold my ScanGauge II. It works and looks great!! There is just enough room next to the OBDII connector plug on the back of the ScanGauge to 3M tape the 2 hole ball mount. I did add a rubber faucet washer under the wing nut on the OFFROAM arm in order for the wings to more easily clear the CAT5 wire plug. Very solid install. If your looking for a way to mount your ScanGauge II, this a very clean and efficient way to do it.

This mount is tough and mounted up very secure. I ordered it to build a mount for cell phone since the one you guys have, does not fit my phone.
