Wireless Charging Phone Holder Qi2 MagSafe

This thing holds my phone so well. The charging is great as well. I do wish I had realized that Apple Car Play wouldn't work unless plugged in directly to my phone, but that is my fault. Just didn't think. The mount to my subaru moves around a little but but not a deal breaker. Getting the placement right to be able to see all the screens was fun, but worked in the end!

Great build quality and design functionality. You can definty tell it was thought through. Having an option for a 90degree USB-C connection at the botton of mount would be icing on the cake, but can be purchased on your own if needed.

Read several reviews that the magnet is not strong on this version and that is absolutely NOT true. I’ve got three of OffRoam’s setups, this one, the MagSafe non-charging and the spring clamp. This one is as strong if not stronger than the non-charging model. I’ve got both and use them off road in a 5th Gen 4Runner.

I think I know what might be the issue. Wonder if those who are having problems with the magnets are using cases on their phones that are not MagSafe, meaning they don’t have magnets in the case as well so the mount is trying to hold onto the phones magnet through a case which would not be strong enough, nothing would be.

So order with confidence, it’s easy to use, charges when stuck in and holds as strong as anything you need it for, as long as you’re using a MagSafe case with magnets in it.

The mount it self was easy to install with the mag charger.
However the magnetic strength is weak, run over couple potholes will have your phone dropping on your knee.

I originally got the Bulletpoint one, but theirs is bigger and my Arc Pulse (minimalist) case wasn’t compatible. This one is small enough to fit perfectly, and I’d wager the magnet is stronger, too. Attached perfectly to the Bulletpoint mount, so it’s a win.
