This mount delivers. It holds my phone in a vice grip but not so tight that it’s difficult to install or remove the phone. I was previously using a phone mount that sat in the cupholder. Now I have the cup holder back and the phone is at a height that is much easier to see.
Really like where it mounts. The only height & side to side adjustable mount that can sit where it doesn't block my vent, radio or sight lines over the dash.
Only complaint would be that the spring gets stuck closed when I try to open it to put my phone it. Feels notched inside the grooves like it's catching
I’ve been using this phone holder mount since 10/3/22, so for over 2 years now. The quality and fit and finish are good……not great especially for something that cost over $80. My two issues with the mount, the one is minor though.
My main issue with the mount is mine is starting to rattle internally, whatever spring mechanism thats inside the actual phone holder is vibrating inside and the noise is driving me nuts. I’ve included a picture for reference on where the noise is coming from with the arrow. If you tap on the area you can hear whatever's moving around inside. I know it’s been two years but for a $80 dollar phone holder I expected better, yeah I know it’s made in China but come on……
The other minor issue is the release mechanism when you remove your phone has sharp edges on the back of it. I remove my phone from the mount with one hand. If you use both hands it’s not an issue.
I super happy with my purchase! You can see and feel the quality right out of the box, the figment was great! I can’t believe I waited so long to buy this phone mount!
The holder is easily installed with just the provided Allen key. The holder articulates to many different positions and can squeeze the phone high or low on the phone. It seems really sturdy. Another advantage over other holders I've found is that it doesn't fully block the vent.
