How to mount a CB radio in Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator

Here is a simple setup we made for our Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. We used two components - readily available at Amazon and our store.

1. Metal Mic Holder - Amazon $4.95
2. Offroam AMPS mount clamp - Offroam $29

We drilled two extra holes in the Offroam clamp to fit the Mic Holder, and carefully tapped them for 2 M4 stainless screws.

Using a step drill, we ever so slightly opened up the holes in the Mic Holder to take up any misalignment issues from hand drilling / tapping.

I am fairly pleased with the end result, however I recognize that it only works for places like NorCal where we don't need to blast the AC or heater too much so we can live with partially blocked air vents.
